Voodoo Magic Spells
Voodoo magic spells are a different variety of your usual witchcraft, but just as powerful (maybe even more so?). You’re probably very familiar with the stereotypical Voodoo doll spells, which are really just one form of Voodoo magic. These are non-doll spells that still use the classic components of Voodoo.
Barriers Begone
When there is something in your way, it’s time to use a Voodoo magic spell to get that obstacle gone. It could be a problem at work, or in love. Whatever the problem in your life, this ritual can move it for you.
- 4 hot chili peppers, whole
- Dark rum
- A small piece of broken glass
- A black ceramic bowl
Announce loudly to the Voodoo gods (Shango in particular) what your barrier is, and ask them to help remove it. Set the piece of glass into the bottom of the bowl, then drop in the 4 peppers. Ask again that the obstacle be gone from your life (be loud) and pour the rum into the bowl to cover the peppers. Save a little rum and take a drink for yourself.
Take the bowl outside and leave it under a tree, the bigger the better. After a night outside, pour everything out into the Earth.
Hex Away
Using Voodoo magic against any negative spells influencing your life is a good way to get things back on track and to eliminate bad luck that someone has brought on you.
- Large handful of dirt (possibly several)
- At least 5 feathers
- 5 black peppercorns
- 5 whole mustard seeds
- 5 pieces of myrrh resin
- 1 black candle
You need a medium sized bowl, and put the feathers, pepper, mustard and myrrh in the bottom. Then fill up the rest of the bowl with dirt. Pack it down tightly. Push the candle down in the center, using the dirt to hold it up like a candle holder.
Light it, and hold your hands up over your head. Order the negative energy to leave you alone, and to return to its source.
